Registration

Fees payable by the 27th of every month. Fees paid after the 5th of the month will be charged a 10% penalty, weekly, for every week your fees remain in arrears and your child's lessons will be suspended until all outstanding fees are brought up to date.

Swimming in winter will continue (depending on Temperature we can maintain in the pool).

Fees are paid Jan – Dec (like a gym). We only close with July & Dec School holidays as it is not viable to keep the heat pumps running for just a few children that might be able to come. Even though you pay full fees during holidays, we don’t want you to feel short-changed. Some months in the year have five weeks, and during those times, we don’t charge you extra. This way, it evens out, making up for missed classes during holidays.

Fees increase every January.

One calendar month's WRITTEN NOTICE is required to terminate lessons. If you terminate lessons and join at a later stage, you will pay the registration fee again.

NOT SENDING YOUR CHILD FOR THEIR LESSON DOES NOT MEAN YOU DON’T HAVE TO PAY (That slot has been reserved for your child)

Swimmers must supply their own towel, costume, Swim cap (appropriate size) & plastic bag.

Swimming will be cancelled if there is a lightning strike within a 13km radius of the facility and will resume 30 minutes after the last strike within a 13km radius of the pool – this is a law we as a Swim School has to adhere to. These lessons cannot be caught up as it is out of our control.

Lessons missed, cancelled or not attended will, unfortunately not be refunded or caught up. Should the student not be able to attend, the lesson will be forfeited, unless a Doctor's letter is provided.

Lessons missed due to a public holiday will fall away.

The Protection of Personal Information Act (aka POPIA) came into effect on 1 July 2021. The act requires that we obtain your consent to communicate with you in the future. This could be in the form of; Occasional news updates, promotional information, information relating to Safe 2 Swim Academy (Pty) Ltd. By accepting the Terms & Conditions, you agree to consent to receive communication from Safe 2 Swim (Pty) Ltd via a broadcast group or personally (please save our number for this to happen). We would like to assure you that your information is stored securely and will be disposed of correctly should you wish.

Child Pick-up Authorization in Compliance with POPIA: I, hereby grant Marleen’s Business Services permission to collect my child from their Nursery School / School if required for the purpose of transportation to and from swimming lessons at Safe2Swim Academy (Parent will make arrangement with the school). This excludes "Jubilee Christian Child Care Centers" - Parents arrange and pay for their own transport from these Centers. I understand that this collection of personal information is necessary for logistical and safety reasons. In providing this authorization, I acknowledge and consent to the processing of personal information as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), including but not limited to my child's name, school name, and any relevant contact information. I understand that Safe2Swim will handle and safeguard this information in accordance with the principles and requirements set forth in POPIA, and will not disclose this information to any unauthorized third parties. I reserve the right to withdraw this authorization at any time, and such withdrawal must be communicated in writing to Safe2Swim. However, I understand that withdrawal of this authorization may impact Safe2Swim's ability to provide transportation services. By ticking the box, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the terms of this authorization in compliance with POPIA.
